What is Flooring Underlayment ( IXPE, EVA, EPE ) ?
Flooring Underlayment also name Flooring Pad, It is composed of low-density polyethylene grease through physical foaming to produce countless independent bubbles. As a new type of environmentally friendly Underlayment material, it has many advantages such as water and moisture resistance, shock resistance, sound insulation, heat preservation, good plasticity, strong toughness, recycling, environmental protection, and strong impact resistance. It also has good chemical resistance. It is an ideal substitute for floor pad materials.
Why is Flooring Underlayment need ?
The flooring underlayment is used between your floating flooring and subfloor, As the protective barrier that keeps moisture away from your floating floor, reduces noise pollution when walking on your new floors, provides a soft cushioned step, and can help smooth out some subfloor inconsistencies.
It is a necessary component of any laminate flooring ,spc flooring engineered hardwood and floating installation.
Flooring underlayment works as a thin foam pad to protect flooring.
It is Install by Tape fixation,so it not glued or nailed down, making installation and repairs easy. When you install laminate flooring or spc flooring, you put it together like a puzzle. That way, when the flooring expands and contracts from changes in the temperature and moisture, your flooring moves together as one unit.
The foam underlayment provides a barrier from friction and other damaging threats when it shifts.
Reduces Noise Level
Floorlot Blue helps quiet sounds from foot traffic. Reduces noise in today’s active households & minimizes the hollow sound associated with floating floors.
Easy Installation
Easily join underlayment together with the attached Peel-&-Stick tape and overlap system.
Superior Moisture Protection
Includes built-in vapor barrier so no additional films are required. Tape and overlap system provides a strong seal.
Comfort
Cushioned 3mm underlayment helps smooth out minor subfloor imperfections & irregularities.

What are the special features DEGE Flooring Underlayment?
1.100% Waterproof
Our underlayment is made out of polyethylene , So it is 100% waterproof, and impervious to mildew, mold, rot, and bacteria.
2.VS Cork Under-layment
Maybe Cork resist moisture , in a flood or leaky appliance scenario where significant amounts of water are exposed to the floor for prolonged periods, there is the chance for mold, mildew, and rot to set in.
3.Good Thermal Insulation
Due to the closed-cell nature of IXPE, it is an excellent insulator and is used in many instances for its insulating properties.
4.Improved sound control
While sound performance is a complicated topic, our 1.5 mm IXPE has a IIC (Impact Insulation Class) rating of 59-60, compared to 1.5 mm cork at 53-55. IIC specifically relates to impact related sounds.
Compared to cork, IXPE provides superior sound performance.
5.Proven performance
IXPE is used in the automotive industry to keep the cabin insulated, both in terms of sound and temperature
